XV – THE DEVIL – SAMEK
At the end of the eternal Solve et Coagula by Temperance, the two Matters have joined in marriage. The masculine and the feminine merge into one androgynous being. It is Le Diable, the Devil, the fallen Angel called Lucifer, the bearer of Light, the INNER FIRE. We find ourselves in the presence of the Fire, of the Passion that nourishes our Soul. It is the encounter with our Shadow and with the removed.
To what cause do you serve your power? What’s to stop me from burning with love? What’s to stop me from living the passion? What prevents me from earning money? How do I exert my power? What do I have to point out that scares me? What is the sexuality that I don’t allow myself to live?
